How To's

1 Cabinet 3 Ways

The best part about decorating a home is that there isn't only one way to do it, there are a million different ways to decorate! We took one cabinet and styled it 3 different ways to share just a few different directions one simple piece of furniture can go. For this series, we chose THIS beautiful rustic buffet.

#1. Something Blue

Option 1 Cabinet

Adding traditional decor to this rustic cabinet creates a beautiful contrast that allows the cabinet to be the focal point. The color scheme is light with pops of blue and gold to establish a formal and sophisticated look. This option would look beautiful in a dining room, living room or even an entryway.

#2. Farmhouse Perfection

Option 2 Cabinet

Instead creating a contrast against the rustic cabinet, this option adds to the rustic and farmhouse style. The artwork is the big showstopper and pairs beautifully with the cabinet. The stools flanking the cabinet widen the cabinet and help make the entire space visually appealing. This would be a perfect and functional look for an entryway.

#3. Bold + Gold

Option 1 Cabinet

This option is neutral in color but that doesn't stop it from being bold and TEXTURE is the secret ingredient. Mixing a variety of textures together creates a space that is full of interest. The gold accents make a big statement. This would be the perfect addition to any blank wall that is begging to be decorated.
