1. Large Wall Calendar

The majority of people use the calendars on their phones to keep them up to date, but a wall calendar is extremely helpful to keep an entire household on track. Our philosophy here: go big or go home! Put this in a spot that will be seen every day, so either the kitchen or the mudroom are good options.

2. Baskets with Lids

Baskets are essential in a home but we are going to take it one step further this year and suggest baskets with lids. Simple, we know, but your home will automatically feel more organized. Baskets already contain loose ends but a lid will hide them.

3. Video Smart Display

Technology is taking over the world and now it is taking over our homes. The voice activated personal assistant devices have stepped up their game and offer video now. We love the video from the Facebook Portal, Google Home Hub and Echo Show for the convenience of hands-free calling or keeping all your reminders, weather, news and traffic updates all in one little compact space.

4. To-Do Lists

Even though voice activated personal assistants are taking over, there is something so satisfying about making a list and crossing items out once you accomplish them. Keep pretty to-do list notepads on hand and use them to keep yourself organized.

5. Wall Hooks

Look around your house and find something that you constantly leave on the ground. It could be your purse, backpack, scarves, belts, keys, etc. A simple wall hook could solve this problem by giving you a designated spot to hang that specific item.

6. Paper Trays

Between mail, school work and bills, our desks and countertops are being taken over every day by papers. This problem just can’t ultimately disappear so we suggest using a paper tray to organize all the incoming daily papers into 1 specific spot on your counter until they find their permanent home.

7. Label Maker

Despite what you might think, label makers are still cool. Use them on folders to organize papers, on boxes to organize photos or shelves to organize linens. Make life easier by adding just a few words around your house.

8. File Storage

Filing systems have come a long way in the last 20 years and you will be surprised how beautiful and stylish they are. We have learned that if you buy pretty storage, you will make a bigger effort to actually use it.

9. Junk Drawer Organizers

Junk drawers…..we all have them. Simplify your life this year by organizing that awful drawer. Drawer organizers are small and inexpensive but make such a huge impact. It is shocking how many people do not use them! Trust us, buy them now and thank us later.

10. Trinket Dish

Trinket dishes are one of our favorite accessories to style nightstands, bathroom countertops and console tables with because they are pretty and functional. These are a simple solution to organize all the pocket change, chapsticks, keys and jewelry that never make their way back to their original home.
