Designer Tips 1 Dresser 3 Ways 09/12/2019 Share The best part about decorating a home is that there isn't only one way to do it, there are a million different ways to decorate! We took one of our favorite dressers from Serena and Lily and styled it 3 different ways. Get ready to be amazed at how different one single piece of furniture can look by switching up a few accessories! We started with this beautiful dresser: Shop Now OPTION #1: PRETTY IN PINK This option emphasized the beauty of the brass hardware from the dresser and created a gorgeous color combination of pink and gold for a feminine vibe. We started styling this dresser with this unique, arch mirror and added in bits of gold throughout. The symmetry of the lamps and blush ottomans create a formal setting. The fun hand object and picture frame give the entire look some personality. If you aren't a fan of pink, this look could easily be switched up with different color ottomans and trinket dish! OPTION 2: UNIQUE + MOODY We wanted to give this option a totally different look by using asymmetry in the decor. Although one side of the decor has more items and taller, it balances out with the other side since the colors are darker and visually heavier. We used dark, moody colors to create a sophisticated look. Also, using a floor lamp instead of table lamps frees up a lot of tabletop space. OPTION 3: FRIENDLY FLORALS This option is so light, calm and just the right amount of color to make a statement. Since the chairs are the same color as the dresser, it visually lengthens the dresser by placing them on both sides. Why do this? Well, because the entire setup takes up more wall space with one long, continuous flow. This is a super helpful tip because one of the biggest decorating mistakes we see is having furniture and decor that is too small for the space. There you have it!
