Since this room will not have matching nightstands, I think it would look great if the bedside tables slightly coordinated. This could be through shape or just a more similar finish. Adding a round side table adds some visual interest to the design but the color helps it to "match" the other wood pieces in the room.

Above the bed is the perfect spot to add a focal point and a splash of color! A lot of your inspiration photos pulled the blush pinks or tones of blue, any of these would help you achieve those looks. Center the piece above your bed, leaving 8"-10" between it and your headboard.

When styling the nightstand we want to add some accents but also not clutter the surface. Start with a tall piece, such as a mirror, either resting on the top or mounted 4" above. Next a tall lamp to help balance the mirror and finally "fill" the remaining space with a few smaller decorative elements. Adding an organic piece, flower or small plant, is always a nice touch.
