Refresh your home for Spring

1. Textiles

Throw pillows on the bed or sofa can instantly change the mood of a room. A colorful or floral pillow will feel light and cheerful amongst a room of neutrals. Pack away your fuzzy blankets for the season and replace them with a bright color and fun throw. Be aware of your room's existing color scheme and add pillows and throws that complement it while still being a little adventurous!

Here are some of our favorite textiles to add to your home:

2. Art

Switching artwork on the wall can dramatically change a room. Art is mounted at eye level, so naturally it will get a lot of attention in the room. Try this on a large or small scale, for example, layer a small, bright colored art print against large existing artwork or mirror. Order prints instead of framed pieces as well to save money by using the same frames.

3. Decorative Accents

We strongly believe that details make a design, so switching out colorful pieces in your tabletop decor will create a that Spring look. Greenery and flowers are perfect Spring additions, as well as candles, colorful books, trinket dishes and trays. The best part about decorative accents is that you don't need to switch everything out to get a new look, just pick 1 or 2 and work with that!

Here are some of our favorite books and candles to try this Spring:

4. Rugs

Door mats are one of the most commonly bought items to spruce up a home every year, but why stop just at the door? Switch out your accent rugs in the kitchen or bathroom to freshen up a room. Kitchens are a great place to make a big impact with a rug because kitchens normally have a neutral color scheme so a rug will be a major focal point.
