Hi Whitney, you have a beautiful home! I love the table and light fixture you want to use for this room, I think they will work well together. The green walls do not have to be a negative, we can play off them with brighter color pops in the small decor and keep the larger items neutral. When you finish it will be the perfect stylish dining space!
The table and light fixture are a perfect mix, bringing together two different styles to create a truly unique space. Your seating for the table can be either traditional or something more fun to create an eclectic vibe.
A great storage piece is important for any room functionally and aesthetically. This piece can be used for excess overflow from the kitchen or for a few serving items you only use seasonally. Here are a few that blend traditional style with a touch of glam.
For this look a mirror is hung centered on your sideboard cabinet, leaving 4-5" from the top of the cabinet to the bottom of the mirror. Arrange the items in an asymmetrical setup to create a stylish and fun look!
To add a personal touch this look uses your cupcake plates in a fun arrangement. Center the largest plate over the sideboard, leaving 3" between all the plates. The plate on the bottom can be hung 4"-5" above the top of your sideboard. Mix in some small decor items on the surface and a glamorous lamp to finish the look.
Both surface styling options would work with either wall decor option, that is up to you! If you like the mirror, the plates can be used on the opposite blank wall that is smaller.
*Note: We do our best to choose items of proper scale and size, but it's always best to measure before you buy. Just let us know if size is an issue with any item. We're always happy to revise!
